Atom.com said on Oct. 15, 2026 that domain buyers and sellers can now use USDC or USDT, with checkout and payouts on Base. NFA.

Partnership Details

Atom.com worked with Coinbase Business and Coinbase on the feature. The integration lets buyers pay with stablecoins while sellers receive payouts in the same assets. Coinbase Business stated on Oct. 15, 2026 that the partnership brings stablecoins directly to domain purchases and seller payouts.

Base added on the same date that Atom now supports stablecoin checkout and seller payouts on its network. The move connects Atom’s domain platform with Base infrastructure for smoother transactions.

How the System Operates

Coinbase Business Checkout APIs create single-use checkout links that pay into a Coinbase Business account. These links handle the payment flow without requiring buyers or sellers to manage additional steps beyond the standard checkout process.

Atom noted that many of its buyers prefer to pay in crypto. The same preference appears among sellers, who now receive stablecoin support for payouts. This setup matches existing habits on both sides of domain deals.

Global Access and Next Steps

Coinbase Business described the stablecoin payments as global. No amount limits apply to the service. The company also indicated that more features are planned for the integration.

Atom described stablecoins as moving from an asset class to a practical way of doing business globally. The Oct. 15, 2026 go-live date marks the point where this view became operational on the platform.

Buyer and Seller Impact

Buyers gain the option to complete purchases without converting assets first. Sellers receive payouts in the same stablecoins, reducing friction in receiving funds. The feature aligns with preferences already observed by Atom across its user base.

The integration relies on established Coinbase Business tools for link generation and settlement. Atom, Coinbase Business, and Base each confirmed the launch through separate statements on Oct. 15, 2026.

Future Development

Coinbase Business signaled that additional capabilities will follow the initial rollout. The current setup focuses on checkout and payouts using USDC and USDT on Base.

Atom.com positioned the change as an extension of crypto use in everyday domain activity. The live date of Oct. 15, 2026 establishes the timeline for when these options became available to users worldwide.
